Murumuru butter is obtained from the fruit of the Brazilian Amazon tree (Astrocaryum Murumuru). The butter’s natural gloss brings a desirable shine to dry, damaged hair. Because of its moisture binding properties, Murumuru’s attributes have been likened to Lanolin.

Murumuru Butter is an off-white to light brown fat obtained from Murumuru Palm seeds. This rich, nourishing plant butter that melts on contact with the skin for a luxurious skin feel and excellent spreading properties. It is abundant in vitamins and minerals, lauric, myristic, and oleic acids, and Vitamin A. Murumuru Butter is highly effective in encouraging healing, restoring barrier properties, stimulating collagen production, binding moisture, and protecting against drying and other environmental aggressors for a softer, smoother complexion. In addition, this product is particularly useful in the treatment of dry, frizzy, damaged, chemically-treated, and over-processed hair, and in restoring softness, manageability, luster and elasticity.
