Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a low odor amido amine type betaine derived from refined coconut oil. It is a highly effective foam booster, providing lush and stable foam in personal care products. It can be used as a primary or secondary surfactant, foam booster, viscosity builder, and is compatible with anionics, nonionics, and cationics. When combined with harsher anionic surfactants, cocamidopropyl betaine’s amphoteric charge helps reduce irritation and sensitivity, resulting in a milder and more gentle final product. This product is recommended for bubble baths, shampoos, baby products, hand soaps, facial cleansers, shower gels, and pet shampoos.
