BioQuat SG™ is a naturally derived, sugar-based conditioning polymer designed to deliver exceptional performance in both hair and skincare formulations. Made from renewable plant resources and free from ethylene oxide, 1,4-dioxane, and residual monomers, this biodegradable, cationic polymer offers a superior alternative to traditional quats.

In hair care, BioQuat SG™ provides anti-static action by depositing a positive charge on the hair fiber—neutralizing the negative charge left after cleansing. This results in smoother, shinier, frizz-free hair with improved manageability and 96% reduction in wet combing force. It also offers a lightweight, non-greasy film that helps protect hair from heat styling and environmental damage, while maintaining scalp comfort and hydration.

In skincare, BioQuat SG™ forms a moisture-retentive barrier on the skin, enhancing hydration and delivering a silky, conditioned feel. It is mild enough for baby care and post-procedure use, and its film-forming properties also make it ideal for sunscreen and water-resistant formulations. Additionally, BioQuat SG™ supports viscosity and foam enhancement in sulfate-free cleansing systems and helps stabilize formulations containing anionic surfactants.
