White Truffle Extract

Tuber magnatum, which is called white truffle, is found mainly in the Langhe and Montferrat areas of the Piedmont region in northern Italy. Growing symbiotically with oak, hazel, poplar and beech, and fruiting in autumn, they can reach 12 cm (5 in) diameter and 500 g weight, though are usually much smaller.

The flesh is pale cream or brown with white marbling. White truffles are known for their medicinal properties; not only are they strong antioxidants, but they are also immunomodulators, controlling the immune function to stay active at the perfect level. Moreover, they are naturally high in minerals and vitamins that aid with the skin’s natural renewal process and soothe inflamed skin.

Formulation Advice:

Add to the formulation when the temperature is lower than 55°C. Recommended to add after the cooling process
