Preservative PE is a clear, broad-spectrum solution comprised of a synergistic ratio of Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin. Ethylhexylglycerin affects the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol.

Preservative PE can inhibit the growth of bacteria, yeasts, mold, and fungi. When exposed to a large number of microorganisms, it can lower the number into a standard value in 48 hours. This product can be used in emulsifiers, anhydrous systems, and surfactant systems such as creams, lotions, shower gels, and makeup, especially those formulations that require a greater level of bactericidal protection.

Both ingredients are globally approved for use in a wide range of personal care applications.
