Olivem® 1000 is an easy to use, natural, PEG-free self-emulsifying ingredient derived from olive oil fatty acids, designed to simplify the creation of smooth, stable oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. It is  Known for its biomimetic properties, it closely resembles the skin’s natural lipid composition, allowing it to deeply moisturize, restore barrier function, and enhance the delivery of active ingredients.

This ingredient is a formulator’s dream—offering ease of use, elegant textures, and a mild, skin-friendly profile ideal for clean beauty brands. It forms liquid crystal structures in emulsions, which mimic the natural organization of lipids in the skin, resulting in excellent hydration and a non-soapy, silky after feel. It’s self-emulsifying properties make it a beginner friendly option for creating luxurious emulsions quickly and easily without professional manufacturing equipment.
