Olive Leaf Extract is a time-honored botanical derived from the leaves of the Olea europaea tree, renowned for its healing and protective properties in Mediterranean herbal medicine. Through a gentle lactobacillus fermentation process, this extract is transformed into a bio-ferment, making its polyphenols—especially oleuropein—more bioavailable and effective. The result is a potent, skin-compatible ingredient that offers enhanced antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Ideal for blemish-prone, sensitive, or environmentally stressed skin, Olive Leaf Bio-Ferment helps reduce inflammation, neutralize free radicals, and protect against premature aging. Its soothing and purifying effects make it a natural choice for formulations focused on barrier repair, redness reduction, and skin clarity.

  • Potent Antioxidant Protection: Defends against oxidative stress and environmental damage

  • Calms & Balances: Reduces redness and irritation, ideal for sensitive or acne-prone skin

  • Clarifies & Detoxifies: Supports a clear complexion and a healthy skin microbiome

  • Anti-Aging Support: Helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and uneven tone

  • Enhanced Efficacy: Bio-fermentation increases absorption and skin compatibility

Olive Leaf Extract – Bio-ferment is produced via the fermentation of the leaves of the olive plant with the bacteria lactobacillus lactis. This fermentation process allows for the isolation of the phytochemicals and phenolic compounds – specifically oleuropein, flavonoids, anthocyanins and tannins which demonstrate unique antioxidant properties, as well as antibacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal activity.

Olive leaves contain phenolic compounds that have been shown to exert potent biological activities including antioxidant activity, antibacterial, anti-viral, and anti-parasitic actions.
